The 'Colour Plans', colour schemes and cards are a unique and exclusive creation of "Gabinete del Color".
First developed in Barcelona in 1989, the 'colour cards' offered the first scientific methodology to document and establish
the colour schemes of the inner cities.
In addition to the colour plan, our methodology includes historical investigation of the urban environment, extraction and
analysis of samples from the facades, the classification of the architectural typologies of specific periods and
the creation of guidelines for the restoration of facades (ie the necessary processes, materials, textures and colours).
Commissioned by the City Councils involved, we have created plans and colour cards for Barcelona,
the district of the "Eixample", "Ciutat Vella", "Horta", "Sant Andreu" y "Barceloneta",
Sitges, Sevilla, Vila Joiosa, Melilla, Lleida, Vic, Málaga, Manlleu, Sant Pol de Mar, Vilafranca del Penedès, Girona,
Toledo and Prat de Llobregat, etc.
